Clamping kits must match the machine table
A clamping kit is not chosen only by piece count. The thread size and T-slot size must match the milling machine or CNC table. Common requests include M10, M12, M14, M16 and M18, but the buyer should confirm the actual machine table before ordering.
If the T nuts do not match the slot, the set cannot be used correctly. A good RFQ should include machine table T-slot width, thread size, set style, number of sets and whether a rack or box is needed.
Many overseas buyers search by common labels such as M12 clamping kit, M16 clamping kit, 58pc clamping kit or Bridgeport clamping kit. Those names are useful starting points, but the table slot and thread must still be checked. Two kits with the same piece count can fit different machines.
T-slot width and stud size should be checked together
The T nut must fit the table slot, while the stud thread must match the T nut and clamping parts. A heavy machine may use a larger T-slot and larger studs, but using an oversized stud in a small T nut leaves less metal around the thread and can create failure risk.
For overseas buyers, the safest RFQ is simple: table T-slot size, thread size, metric or inch system, kit count and box style. If the buyer only has the old kit photo, send a photo of the T nut and stud marking as well.
